The day the fan hit the shit

Leeds 2009 will be remember for a number of things. The year it became better than Reading, the year Radiohead played and of course the year that "Poo Girl" was born.

Rumours are rife about a girl from the Northeast, whom we will simply refer to as Poo Girl, dropped her handbag down the toilet into the quagmire below. Rather than call for assistance she decided the best course of action was to lean down and retrieve it.

Possibly not the smartest decision she has ever made as it resulted in landing her quite literally in the shit.

Firemen were called to scene to rescue the creature from the brown lagoon and take her swiftly to hospital, whereupon it seems that she had a jolly good scrub before rejoining the festivities. Good work sista!

This girl has become somewhat of a hero with over 11,000 people joining a‚ Facebook group dedicated to the her.

So here's to you Poo Gilr - whoever you are.
