Them Crooked Vultures go nuts at ACL

by TFF published 06/10/09

Last Weekend’s Austin City Limits fought off torrential rain to entertain around 70,000 people with acts from bands such as B-52s, Kings of Leon (who livened up yet another overplayed set with a cameo appearance by Eddie Vedder), Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Walkmen and Arctic Monkeys,

The hardcore attendees at the Texan festival – those that endured the rain, mud and sewage from the burst drains - were sent home on a high after Pearl Jam tore the place up with a mind blowing set. Once again proving they are one of the greatest live performers in the world…

….would love to see them in the UK next year – they do, after all, have a new album to promote.

One of the talking points of the 3 day festival was the show put on by Them Crooked Vultures, who headlined the Xbox 360 stage on Friday. If you have been unlucky enough to miss TCV thus far then we have a little treat for you here.

If this band gets any better then I fear they are likely to explode - better catch them soon before it’s too late. You have been warned.

Incidentally – if you have any idea where Jonesy got his Ghostbuster’s guitar from then please let us know…
