Organisers of End of the Road festival have announced that the festival site will be opening on the Thursday - a day earlier than previous years.
The festival, now in its fifth year, has previously opened the campsite on Friday - the same day that music starts, leading to a rush of people arriving before entertainment begins in the afternoon, and some late comers missing first night headliners.
"You can arrive, set up camp, spend the evening finding your away around and be ready to hit the fest when the entertainment starts on Friday," they announced on the festival's Twitter site.
Speaking to TFF last week, co-organiser Sofia Hagberg confirmed that there would be entertainment for those early arrivals on the Thursday night, and they expect the early opening to lead to fewer queues and a steady stream of people arriving before the music starts on Friday.
It has also been confirmed that sales for the festival are 40% up on last year, with over half of child tickets already gone.
